Nexus Privacy Policy

1. What Nexus Is

Nexus is a workout and nutrition tracking app that operates as a ChatGPT app. You interact with Nexus by chatting in ChatGPT, and Nexus logs, retrieves, updates, and manages fitness entries on your behalf.

2. Data We Collect

Nexus collects only the data needed to provide fitness tracking:

• Account information, including user ID, display name, and email address from the authentication flow.
• Workout data, including exercise names, sets, reps, weight, duration, distance, notes, and dates.
• Nutrition data, including food names, quantities, calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, meal type, notes, and dates.
• Body-weight entries you choose to log.
• Friend data, including your friend code, connection status, and connected users.

Nexus does not collect GPS location, financial information, payment information, biometric identifiers, device identifiers for advertising, or full ChatGPT conversation history.

3. How We Use Data

We use collected data to provide the service, including to:

• Store, retrieve, update, and manage workout, meal, and weight entries.
• Associate entries with the authenticated user account.
• Enable friend connections and shared progress views when users connect by friend code.
• Validate entry formats and compute nutrition totals server-side.

Nexus does not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Nexus does not use your fitness logs for advertising, behavioral profiling, or training AI models.

4. Service Providers and Recipients

• Supabase provides authentication and hosts the PostgreSQL database for Nexus entries.
• Google Cloud runs the Nexus MCP server on Cloud Run.
• Cloudflare hosts this public website and policy pages.
• OpenAI / ChatGPT provides the interface where you interact with Nexus.
• Friends you connect with can view the workout and nutrition entries made available through the friends feature.

5. User Controls

• You can view your data using the history tool in ChatGPT.
• You can update entries using the update tool.
• You can manage friend connections using the friends tool.
• You can disconnect Nexus from ChatGPT at any time.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing kushalsokke@gmail.com.

6. Security and Retention

• All service traffic is transmitted over HTTPS.
• Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 flows through Nexus and Supabase.
• Fitness data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database.
• Data is retained while your account is active unless you request deletion.
• Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

7. Children

Nexus is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.
